Award Presentations: North Shore Employees make Safety a Top Priority

Every year, North Shore employees get together for a day of team building activities, to spend some time out of the office, and get to know one another a little better; and this year was no different when our staff spent the day at the Lacombe Curling Club for our 4th annual curling “funspiel.”

North Shore Employees had fun participating in some friendly competition on the rink and our Health and Safety Manager, Jeff Grubbs also took the time to recognize some of North Shore’s outstanding employees for practicing safety excellence.

“At North Shore, safety is a large part of our daily operations and we truly have a strong and vibrant safety culture,” Jeff says.

“We have worked together as a team to ensure all of our employees participate in our Health and Safety Program and are involved in all aspects of our Health and Safety Management System (HSMS),” he adds.

“We want to ensure everyone comes home safe at the end of each work day, and we are proud to say that those who received this year’s North Shore Safety Awards do a great job of promoting safety at the company and within their teams.”

Awards were presented in eight categories to a number of deserving employees. Each employee was awarded a plaque and a $50.00 gift certificate to a store of their choosing.

Congratulations to all of our Safety Award winners.
